INDEPENDENT POLICE INVESTIGATIVE DIRECTORATE
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate’s (IPID) intention is to promote representatively in

SALARY : R183 558. per annum (Salary Level 6). The successful candidate will be
required to sign a performance agreement.

REQUIREMENTS : The ideal candidate must have a formal IT qualification in N+, A+, MCSE
or A three year degree or NQF level 6 and 1 year working experience in
ICT environment. Knowledge of network software and components,
knowledge of systems software and components, knowledge of software
configurations, knowledge of hardware configurations, knowledge of
desktop, server hardware and software, knowledge of government
prescripts. Excellent written and oral communication skills, Demonstrated
customer service skills and focus, proven ability to manage multiple tasks
and projects, ability to think and act tactically. Good interpersonal skills
DUTIES : Link users to the network including mobile network. Network
management and troubleshooting. Upgrade of network hardware and
software components. Conduct provincial visits. Keep register of all
obsolete or equipment identified for disposal. Troubleshoot computer,
printer and server problems.
