exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of
which will be communicated by department. Following the interview and the
technical exercise, the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend a
generic managerial competency assessment (in compliance with the DPSA
Directive on the implementation of competency based assessments). The
competency assessment will be testing generic managerial competencies using
the mandated DPSA SMS Competency assessments tools.


POST 16/189 : REGISTRY CLERK REF NO: OTP 07/04/2019 (X3 POSTS)
SALARY : R173 703 per annum (Level 05)
CENTRE : Head Office (Bhisho)
REQUIREMENTS : A grade 12 certificate or equivalent. Language skills and the ability to communicate
well with people at different levels and from different backgrounds. Good telephone
etiquette. High Level of reliability. Knowledge of registry duties, practices as well
as the ability to capture data, and operate computer. Working knowledge and
understand of the legislative framework governing the Public Service. Knowledge
of storage and retrieval procedure in terms of the working environment.
Understanding of the work in registry.
DUTIES : Provide registry counter services. Handle incoming and out coming
correspondence. Render an effective filing and record management service.
Operate Office machines in relation to the registry function. Process documents
for archiving and / disposal. Scanning, capturing, storing & retrieval of information
to the Electronic Document Management System.
